She works in oils with marks made in pastel and pencil to capture atmosphere, space and silence. Favouring a chalky palette and allowing the materiality of the paint expression, she looks for lines of light, slivers of colour that draw the eye and pull the viewer into the scene, whatever the subject. She studied painting the Art Academy in London and has exhibited with the RSBA and was shortlisted for the Jacksons Art Prize. Her work is in collections at home and abroad.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Laura Darling","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":55614278074744,"sku":"26AO182","price":1800.0,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0016\/8014\/6476\/files\/LauraDarling-Sassoferratoblue.jpg?v=1784738512","url":"https:\/\/atelierbrighton.co.uk\/products\/26ao182","provider":"Atelier Beside the Sea","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
