She likes to draw loose sketches which are then translated into a printing plate. She enjoys various mediums: viscosity collagraphs, Lino reduction, screen printing and intaglio. Most of all she likes mixing mediums and techniques making the boundaries limitless. A collagraph is a print made from a collaged or textured board. The plate is made from different types of board: mount board, cardboard etc. it can be worked in relief, with materials on the surface of the plate or as an intaglio method such as scoring lines or cutting away layers. The finished plate is sealed with varnish\/button polish. After taking early retirement she went to Hampstead School of Art. Then attending courses at Gainsborough House and Curwen Print and latterly various printing establishments in Brighton. As well as printing she likes to draw using pastels or charcoal.
