Emily Maude is an artist working from her studio in Brighton. Her recent series of works are imagined tableaux based on her “dresser of dreams” combining heritage ceramics set against antique patterns and textiles. The imagined vignettes give us glimpses into other people’s homes and the collections that endure on people’s mantlepieces, tabletops and indeed their own dressers of dreams.
Emily Maude has sold her collections internationally for clients including The New York Times, Octopus Publishing, Liberty of London and Paul Smith.
This work is on show as part of Orna-Mantle-Pieces, A Staffordshire Pottery inspired show.
