Join us for this very special morning to make your very own Victorian style walnut Christmas tree decorations. These decorations look amazing hung from your tree and also make the perfect gifts for the festive season. They can also be used as an alternative to Christmas crackers, with secret messages hidden inside.
During the fun workshop morning surrounded with festive cheer, you will be taught the basics of gilding, making a set of 10 of these stunning golden decorations, complete with red ribbon to display them proudly at home
Amy studied The Decorative Arts at The City and Guilds of London Art School and has an MA in printmaking from Camberwell College of Art. Having worked in theatres and numerous conservation studios over the years, her current art practice involves the transformation of broken figurines and small paintings.
Her work can currently be seen at Paul Smith, Mayfair and is in private collections around the world . Amy runs The Bee Hive Art Club, to facilitate the community side of our project at Atelier Beside the Sea.

What to bring with you:
Most materials are provided by Atelier Beside the Sea, although you may wish to collect some visual reference materials and a sketchbook and pencil to make notes and sketch out ideas.
