About the artist:
I am a land and seascape painter based in Hove. I work in oils, acrylics and spray paints. These paintings are part of a series of works based on storms and Aurora lights. I like to capture the euphoria of such events through colour, lines and shapes and without man-made landmarks. Multiple layers are gradually built up to create atmosphere and textures. To me it conveys the sense of joy in a transient moment surrounded by extremes of nature.
