About the artist:
Lyndsey Smith, Lewes based member of the Sussex Watercolour Society, also Society of Graphic Fine Art, showing at London’s Barbican, Bankside, Menier and Mall Galleries. Lyndsey is known for her detailed watercolour paintings of buildings and the life that goes on in and around them now and in history. Many Brighton pubs and restaurants have been subjects. Walking and painting en plein air, along the Sussex Coast and Downs has led to Lyndsey working in a looser free style with line and watercolour wash.
