by Yuki Assiter.
This simple but elegant Pond Ripple disk necklace has a unique line textured disc with a hole in the middle on a diamond cut ball chain. Available in sterling silver and 18ct yellow gold plating on sterling silver.
The ‘Pond’ shape was originally inspired by the Kyoto Garden in a part of Holland Park, London which is Yuki’s local park now. That traditional Japanese garden area is very different from other parts of Holland Park. A big pond is surrounded by well trimmed trees, stones and lawns, but somehow the garden is harmonised with the Victorian English park and is a very popular area of the park. It was a wonderful experience to see different cultural background’s people all with a different sense of beauty enjoying and sharing the same garden.
Disk: approx. 18mm diameter x 2.5mm height.
Chain: 1.2mm thickness, approx. 460mm length.
