Inspired by the pieced and patchworked quilts of the 19th century this paper "quilt" corner is made from fifty four 2.5 x 2.5 cm squares. All the squares have a different pattern or motif within a narrow colour range in rescued and re-purposed papers.

Eleri Sampson is a printmaker and collage artist based in Brighton and has a background in fashion and textiles. She makes one-of-a kind paper collages, greetings cards and small scale artists' books She uses rescued wrapping paper, packaging material and her own printed and painted papers to produce multi-layered and colourful signature pieces. She is inspired by fashion, flowers and family photos.
