About the artist:
I am a Potter and Theatre Designer living in Hastings. I collect Neolithic and cave art drawings/graffitti as inspiration for Deep Time vessels- mainly using black and white. Ceramics are slab built in moulds then altered. When I see very early pottery in museums the hairs on the back of my neck stand up - 'thrilled to see the finger marks of the craftsman from so long ago. I love that many of the images are similar to the drawings of young children today.
