About the artist:
Photographing the UK coastline especially Poole in Dorset has been an ongoing passion, I love how light and colour can interact with the landscape and sea changing the mood entirely. I try to evoke a sense of place a connection to my images and each picture is unique like a fingerprint as the light, weather, seasons and environmental conditions such as the tide control the end result, so there will only be a few seconds to capture the moment then it’s gone! I take my camera out mainly in winter just before dusk as colour and dramatic light contrasts are at their best, I like holding the camera (Intentional Camera Movement) and deliberately moving it to create the effect that it is in context with the subject, I try to create an atmospheric image which is more like a painting.
