Based in East Sussex, this 36-year-old figurative artist and mother of two neurodiverse boys creates deeply personal work shaped by motherhood, loss, and growth. Working primarily in charcoal—originally chosen for its practicality around children—she has developed a deep connection to its raw, expressive power. The loss of both parents just before the birth of her first son profoundly informs her exploration of grief, resilience, and transformation. Blending surrealism and realism, her work evokes both the dreamlike and the tangible. Each piece is a visual diary reflecting identity, motherhood, and the quiet strength of women.
