About the artist:
I am a Bristol-based artist whose work takes many forms, from intricately layered paper landscapes to stop-motion animations. The abiding mood is one of playful darkness and eerie beauty. Sometimes miniature, always detailed, my work asks you to peer into its world up-close. I am fascinated by the power of narrative and storytelling in helping us to imaginatively connect to the more-than-human world. Through references to myth, folktales and stories of my own invention, my work seeks to transport the viewer to other realms, and in doing so, re-enchant this one.
