Half-day workshop

Course Summary

Celebrate the season by crafting your own large, folk-art inspired Yule star from beautiful English rush. These striking stars are big enough to hang on your front door as a natural alternative to a wreath, or to display indoors as a unique wall decoration.

Rush is a traditional, native wild plant that’s a pleasure to work with. During the workshop, you’ll be guided step by step to make your own star, and you’ll also see a range of inspiring variations to spark your creativity.

Who is this workshop for?

  • Suitable for adults adults who love crafting and have good dexterity.

  • Teens aged 14–18 are very welcome if accompanied by a participating adult.

  • Groups are kept small to allow for plenty of individual attention.
