About the artist:
I'm primarily a printmaker working with linocut, woodcut and dry point. I've always been inspired by a range of subcultures and counter cultures, and their tension with the mainstream. I'm particularly interested and passionate about tattooing history and heritage and my work will often thematically and aesthetically reflect this. I enjoy the methodical process of printmaking that requires planning and patience, with the constant threat of one mistake undoing days of work, all the while trying to embrace the imperfections and unpredictability of the medium.
