About the artist:
I am a Brighton and Hove based artist who is constantly amazed by the beauty around me. Beauty in all things, minute or infinite and in all seasons. I am absorbed by my surroundings and feel compelled to explore it further through my love of painting and drawing. I switch between mediums and often use anything to hand to experiment but I particularly love the versatility of watercolour as well as the mad vibrancy and immediacy of soft pastel. I sketch often and take photos but in my painting I love to let the colour and my heart combine to go their own way when possible. I draw and paint because it’s a huge part of me. I am not whole without it. In the distant past I studied at Brighton Art College. I am a member of the Society of Sussex, Sculptors, Panters and Printers and have been exhibiting in the Sussex area for several years.
