About the artist:
Michelle is a Bristol based artist whose work focuses on intaglio printmaking. Her etchings are handprinted in small editions on handmade paper using oil based inks. Michelle’s work focuses on atmosphere and mood where the act of seeing transforms into one of feeling. She is inspired by the everyday and overlooked, seeking to capture moments that invite the viewer to pause, contemplate, and find their own story within the artwork. Michelle is a member and trustee of Spike Print Studio and has exhibited widely including Bankside Gallery, RWA, RBSA, Ironbridge Fine Arts, AKA Gallery, 44AD Gallery, North Street Gallery.
