Collection: Hannah Mansfield
Hannah Mansfield is a freelance hand embroiderer. Within her work she specialises in the techniques of tambour beading and goldwork and is passionate about using these traditional techniques in a modern context. Hannah is best known for her range of goldwork bees and insects and three-dimensional goldwork flowers.
Hannah graduated in July 2016 with a degree in Textile Design. Since graduating she has worked as an intern and on a freelance basis for private clients and fashion houses such as Joe Richards and John Smedley. Alongside this work Hannah continues to develop and embroider her own designs. In 2017 Hannah entered the Hand & Lock Prize for embroidery and was awarded third prize in the fashion open category. In 2019 Hannah entered the Hand & Lock Prize again and was awarded first prize in the textile art open category. In 2020 Hannah was made a Trade Freeman of The Worshipful Company of Gold and Silver Wyre Drawers.
