"Loveless reeks of sultry sexuality, with greased back quiffs & roaring bikes (I have neither). The outsiders ride into town & then stuff happens. But not much, but enough. A rockabilly classic with a young Willem Dafoe."
Mixed media on old record sleeve.

”Films. Or, if you grew up in Fife… fillums. As a teenager in Dunfermline I knew there had to be an alternative to the latest Charles Bronson Death Wish, or the endless Chuck Norris fight-romps. And one Saturday, Derek Malcolm appeared on BBC2 & offered just that with his Film Club. Jean Gabin, Cocteau, 8 ½, Panther Panchali, Belmondo & Seberg on the Champs Elysee. It was all there, week after week. It changed everything, & I’ve kept looking ever since. But there’s some I return to, time after time. Godard still shocks, Truffaut makes me cry, but Tati, oh Monseiur Hulot, makes me smile every single time. That’s why our band are called The Postmen – Francois le facteur in Jour de Fete is a film (fillum) I could never not enjoy…” - Jonny Hannah
