About the artist:
Yvette Glaze. My ceramics are inspired by landscapes and the changing seasons. This work explores field margins and hedgerows with its abundance of flora and fauna and how this changes as the year progresses. I develop my ideas through sketch, painting and printing. This naturally progresses to the clay surface. My painterly surfaces are achieved using multi layers including paper resist, stencils, mono print and texture. These slab built forms act as a surface to further develop my artwork.
