Utilising a section of baking tin as a canvas, this vintage gold brooch has been reframed, given a new life, with recognition of the skill of its original maker. Within the jewellery trade most unwanted items are simply melted down, but Jo felt the need to celebrate the work of the maker before her, while creating a contemporary wearable piece.
Materials: Repurposed steel tin, steel, iron and repurposed gold bar brooch.
Dimensions: 35 x 43 x 7 mm.
