Niamh Wright is a scottish based contemporary jeweller graduated from the Glasgow School of Art in 2023. She went on to do a year-long residency at GSA to expand on design and making, focusing on honing in on her craft in digital design, specifically using VR equipment. Her interest in VR equipment stems from the endless possibilities in which she can create her jewellery; she enjoys mixing organic and manmade materials combined with distinct colours and soft forms that are unique to her personal style. Since finishing her residency she has taken part in exhibitions in London, Glasgow and Munich and has sold work at markets with Teagreen in the V&A Dundee and Kelvingrove art galleries and museums. Niamh now works in a shared studio space in Glasgow's WASPs Briggait, where she is continuing to develop her practice.
