by Jo Cranston.
This Jo Cranston Lambswool Fisherman’s Rib Scarf is crafted in Jo's workshop in Sussex, England. Knitted and finished to the highest quality, this scarf is made from very soft premium non-mulesed lambswool spun in Scotland. The scarf features a classic fisherman’s rib design knitted in a subtle charcoal melange, the rib construction makes this scarf very warm and light to wear.
This very special lambswool is spun for Jo by a mill located on the banks of a Scottish loch. Using the pure water from this loch to wash the woollen yarn creates a luxuriously soft handle to the knitwear we make. Only environmentally friendly dyes that conform to REACH standards are used, allowing the water from the dyeing process to be cleaned and safely returned to the loch; a RSPB nature reserve.

Made in England.

Jo Cranston is a designer and producer of pure lambswool accessories for men & women, made entirely in Britain. She makes accessories from pure wool. Unlike fossil fuel based fibres that are polluting the sea, wool is a natural fibre that is renewable and completely biodegradable. The majority of Jo's wool comes from mills that supply natural lamb’s wool, sourced from farms where animal welfare is a high priority. Most of her yarn is dyed and spun at a mill situated on the banks of a loch in Scotland. This is where the lamb’s wool is washed using the pure water from the loch, creating a luxuriously soft handle to the finished pieces.
