Collection: Made by Swimmer

Made by Swimmer are two sisters, Sue and Jo Thomas, based on the south coast of England with a shared love for sewing. Mostly self taught, their work is driven by their passion for recycling and they love to trawl through second hand shops and markets to find vintage fabrics that inspire them, particularly wool blankets and velvet curtains. Their hand embroidered decorative pieces are stitched onto pure wool salvaged from these vintage blankets, backed with colourful velvet and stuffed with polyester filling, often topped with a jaunty party hat or crown.
