Collection: Betty Bib Studio

Betty Bib has worked many years as an illustrator under her name Lesley Buckingham. Betty Bib is her alter ego and created when she wrote and illustrated three fairy books as Betty the fairy scholar and expert in everything fairy. The books are called Betty Bib’s Fairy Field Guide, Fairy Year and Fairy Christmas.

Betty has long been fascinated by the idea of the Little Folk as guardians of the natural world and they enliven the images of the flowers and plants that she loves to draw and paint. Her mission is to encourage people to look more closely at the world around them and once again help them to feel the magic that we maybe routinely felt as children.

She has exhibited in Germany and Japan and in galleries and shops around the UK. Her illustrations have appeared in magazines, packaging, publishing and advertising.
