Zoe Ansari makes quality hand-carved lino prints from her home studio in Cambridge. She is inspired by a love of nature, Arts and Crafts pattern design, music, folklore, and the endless possibilities of an overactive imagination. Zoe loves all the processes of lino printing. Making and creating is when she's at her happiest. Her ideas come from many sources and she often finds that she has a backlog of ideas waiting to emerge onto paper. She's fascinated by the idea of little hidden worlds within her lino prints. Where the bugs live and what lives beneath our feet. She likes to get lost in the detail. The whole process of lino printing can be a lengthy one. Zoe likes to take her time with designs, carving, and printing. Some prints can take several weeks or months to finish.
