Collection: Melissa Birch

Melissa Birch is an artist and printmaker based in West Sussex.  Gaining her degree from Ruskin School of Fine Art, Melissa learned the traditional skills required to create her own artworks.

After a 20-year career as a secondary school teacher, Melissa has successfully established her own print studio, is stocked in a number of outlets and also regularly exhibits her work nationally.

On this course you will learn the process of designing and carving a Lino block.  Melissa will guide you through how to transfer a design onto Lino and how to use specialist cutting tools to create your block for printing.
