Collection: Niall Hollaert

' I’ve been writing poetry since I was fifteen.
Started as soon as I could play two chords.
Of course,
Back then I called them songs.
Though I never got any good at guitar.
It was the writing that excited me.'

Niall Hollaert has been collaborating with musicians, artists and film makers and even a ceramicist on projects that will hopefully help him do what he loves best; turn people on to poetry, who think that it’s not for them.

As well as running poetry workshops for vulnerable adults with mental health charity, SMART, he also run poetry supper clubs for budding poets and enthusiasts.

I am working with Brighton charity, Forests Without Frontiers, providing poetry for a very exciting project to raise environmental awareness, and plant trees in the local area.
