Claire Spencer is a printmaker living and working in rural Wales. After originally training in Metalwork and Jewellery and gaining an MA from the Royal College of Art, she now makes bright, modern linocuts, collagraphs and screen prints. Her work often starts with small paper cut motifs or ink drawings, which are then developed into final designs ready to be transferred to the lino or silk screen. Claire takes inspiration from nature and the simplicity of Scandinavian style. A love of colour, pattern, graphic design and craft all inform her work.
