The Printed Peanut is an ever-expanding collection of illustrated items for you and your home, designed by Louise Lockhart. All products are manufactured in the UK and aim to use eco-friendly materials wherever possible. Based in the hills of Yorkshire, Louise works from home in a converted cotton mill.

Louise is an avid people watcher and takes inspiration from the world around her. She takes inspiration from vintage textiles, folk art, children’s books and old print ephemera, of which she has a large collection surrounding her cluttered desk. She creates her work by cutting out shapes from paper with a big pair of brass scissors, aiming for a playful line and unintended wonkiness. Her unique and recognisable work is often infused with humour and joy, making her designs loved and collected by a wide range of people.
