Collection: The Stealthy Rabbit

Emily Warren is The Stealthy Rabbit. She is a maker based in Lewes who makes animal shapes with papier-mâché.  She mainly uses found materials, starting with cardboard as a base to build each piece with, and then add the detail with papier-mâché using a smoother tissue paper or dress pattern paper for the final layer, which she then paints, using a combination of materials – ink, gouache, acrylics, watercolours, pens and pencils. She says, 'It’s probably a bit complicated, but it’s just the way my animals have developed over time.'
