These tumblers are designed with tactility in mind combining the classic shape with a modern twist of finger dimples to fit even more snugly in your hand.
Their generous proportions make them really versatile from a morning latte to unique water cups on the table to an evening tipple of mulled wine or cider.
Hand thrown on the wheel with the each dimple being gently pressed in by Nix's thumb when then they have firmed up a little.
Stoneware, glazed in the soft shades of gentle tones and variations across a satin surface.
Dimensions: 8 x 9.5 cm.
Dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended.
For Nix Hawkins, handmade ceramics offer the incredible opportunity to make truly individual and distinct objects from the subtle marks and shapes made by her hand to organic earthy glaze finishes from traditional firing techniques. Whilst her collections have distinct styles no two pieces will be the same, think of them like sisters rather than identical twins. Her designs offer a soft colour palette that reflects the natural earth materials and landscape around her Dorset studio and enhance the stoneware clay through hand carved texture, breaking edges and natural finishes.
