Liz Davies of Birdcanfox is a ceramic sculptor and designer based in Bristol. Working mainly in porcelain, she is fascinated with the natural world, pattern making and anthropomorphism. Her animal based pieces are often described as characterful and she describes herself as a natural story teller. Having studied Fine Art and then a masters in Film Making she moved from film to ceramics after a physical injury 15 years ago and is happiest in her garden studio with her hands covered in clay.
