Come along and learn the basics of weaving. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already have some experience, join us for a relaxed Friday evening session at Atelier Beside the Sea in Brighton, set against the energy of the seafront.
Our Friday Social workshop is a chance to slow down for a couple of hours, meet other craft-minded people and explore weaving together.
We’ll be using table looms and looking at examples of off-loom weaving, drawing inspiration from the surrounding Downs and sea. You’ll also work with naturally dyed yarns, coloured here in Sussex.
Suitable for all levels, this is a space to play, take risks and reconnect with making in an easy, low-pressure way. Come along, have a drink and enjoy creating in the middle of a lively Friday night.
