Cornish Cottage Print

A handmade lino print of a Cornish Cottage in a small village near the seaside in Cornwall. The print consists of the building and beautiful garden, in amongst the plants is a noddy gnome which has sentimental meaning to the house owners. It is printed on Premium 200 GSM Paper with oil based inks giving super deep blacks and a crisp white.

Douglas Johnson is based in the Midlands and produces his prints, paintings and illustrations from his home studio. He is self-taught and has been making prints for around 5 years. Douglas finds inspiration from various sources. His work often features nature and architecture, and he really likes history and looking at old illustrations. He find influence is all sort of art and styles.
