Mont Saint-Michel Landscape

This handmade linocut print is loosely based on Mont Saint-Michel. Made at the start of 2020 it features a shutdown city on an uncertain sea. Printed on Premium 200 gsm paper with oil-based ink.

Paper size: 42 x 59.4 cm (A2).

Doug Johnson is based in the Midlands and produces his prints, paintings and illustrations from his home studio. He is self-taught and has been making prints for around 5 years. Doug finds inspiration from various sources. His work often features nature and architecture, and he really likes history and looking at old illustrations. He find influence is all sort of art and styles.
