Royal Game of Ur Design Cowl in Black and Blue

The pattern on this contemporary Fair Isle cowl represents the board of the Royal Game of Ur, a game which was played in ancient Abysinnia by kings and commoners alike. It was designed originally as a scarf commission for the British Museum.

Size: 49 x 26 cm (unstretched).

Material: 100% superfine merino.

Care: Spot clean gently. Wash as rarely as possible by hand in cold water with a gentle wool detergent.
