Skip Sped II is a 4 colour, including one metallic silver or gold layer, silkscreen print that was commissioned as part of a large series of prints for the ocean liner Spirit of Discovery.
The series theme was folklore and tales of the sea.
Skip Sped (meaning go well or good travels) Three ships figureheads in choppy waves but going well!
It's a small edition with only 20 of each print.
The print image is w 90cm x h 40cm. The paper size is 100cm x 55cm. The framed print is approx 120 x 58 cm in a pale wood frame. Please contact us to ask about costs for sending the framed version.
Sarah is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and maker working with narrative themes often inspired by myth, folk tales, circus and burlesque imagery. As a printmaker she is known for her lino and wood cuts but also works in screen printing, mono print and collograph.
