About the artist:
Ailsa Brims is an abstract artist whose work explores themes of transformation, impermanence and emotional connection. Inspired by liminal landscapes, weathered surfaces and the interplay between beauty and decay, her paintings reflect a deep fascination with the ways nature, time and human experience continually shape one another. Working intuitively in layered paint, collage and mixed media, Ailsa allows each piece to evolve through processes of erosion, concealment and revelation.
