About the artist:
Jessica Barrah works in many different mediums, including linoprinting, cut paper collage, mosaic and pottery, but for the last few years has been concentrating on painting acrylic on canvas. She has lived in the Brighton area for the past twenty years, and is inspired by the local flora and fauna, beaches, cliffs and walks in the South Downs. She also loves vibrant colour, texture and pattern, and her Rainbow City painting is inspired by the pop art style of Peter Blake applied to Brighton and Hove landmarks.
