Literal translation ‘ 魚樂無窮’ meaning the relaxing and enjoyable feeling of watching fish swim. I find joy in the movement of Koi.

About the artist:
Kwai Fun Ng is a self-taught artist from Hong Kong, now based in the UK, whose creative life has evolved through many stages. Beginning in pattern cutting and dressmaking, she developed a strong sense of form, balance, and movement, later expressing this through delicate watercolours. In her seventies, after the loss of her husband, art became a way to process grief and rediscover purpose. She shifted to bold acrylic abstraction, creating vibrant, textured works shaped by emotion, resilience, memory, and renewal. Her paintings reflect optimism and the belief that creativity and new beginnings can flourish at any age.
