About the artist:
I am a land and seascape painter based in Hove. I'm inspired by the surrounding East Sussex coastline and landscapes, in particular extremes of light and colour. Most of my work consists of acrylic or mixed media on canvas. These paintings are part of a series of sea and landscapes including recent Aurora lights. I like to capture atmospheric conditions through colour, lines and shapes. Multiple layers and textures are built up to create transient moments in the landscape.
