About the artist:
Nancy is a printmaker working in linocut relief printing based in South London. She studied BA(Hons) Illustration at Humberside College of Art and worked for many years as a freelance illustrator. She has a fascination with creating multi-block linocuts that explore positives and negatives using lines and solids to build multi-layered images. She makes print editions which explore our relationship with the natural world, often finding the edgelands with the notion that nature has no boundaries. She will initially draw on location finding first-hand reference on trips to gardens and the wilderness.
