This is a hand-drawn drawing that is in the style of a two-panel comic. In the first panel is a giant colourful ammonite swimming under the sea in the year 100,002,026 BC. In the second panel, that same ammonite's fossilised shell is on display in a museum in the present day. This drawing is part of my "Ammonites" series of drawings.

Pen on paper.

Dimensions: (unframed) 29.7 x 21 cm.

About the artist:
Nathan Devere is an artist based in Brighton. He was born on 7th August 2004. He mainly does pen and paper drawings. He first draws what he wants to draw with a pencil. Then he colours the drawing in if he wants it to have colour. Finally, he goes over the pencil outlines with black fine art pens of different thicknesses. His drawings are very fantastical and they don't have any themes or symbolism. He mostly draws landscapes, creatures, plants or objects. One of his drawings was exhibited/sold at the previous Atelier Open exhibition.
