About the artist:
Ruth was in collage using paper she paints with acrylics using old brushes, rollers, sponges - anything to create unique and tactile textures. She then cuts, layers and sticks. Ruth is based near Brighton and takes inspiration from her local surroundings. She has been shortlisted for the World Illustration Awards in 2019 and 2020 and received the Highly Commended Artist Award from Brighton Open House in 2024.
