About the artist:
Samantha King lives in Battle, East Sussex, in the main she works in oil or acrylic paint. Living in the country she feels a deep connection with nature and loves to be out in green spaces. She particularly enjoys gardens and garden buildings. Her work explores ideas and themes around the relationship between people and nature. She creates works which celebrate nature but often have a sense of disquiet and foreboding. Her latest works explore ideas of adaptation and modification.
