About the artist:
Timothy O’Brien is a portrait and figurative artist. Working predominantly in oil paint and taking inspiration from both classical figurative portraiture, as well as contemporary styles and abstraction, his main focus is capturing the emotion of his subjects. He has exhibited in many exhibitions and galleries including Mall gallery, Copeland gallery, Kellie Miller gallery, Sussex Contemporary, Brixton department gallery and Green & Stone gallery. He is also a two time finalist on Sussex portrait artist of the year.
