Blue Thistles

Blue thistle is a photo montage made using the Scanogram process. Scanography utilizes flatbed scanners to make images which are combined with layers etc to create unique pieces.

About the artist:
Tracy Wadey is a Brighton-based artist. He uses a variety of methods, traditional and modern, to create unique and visually striking works of abstract and photographic art. Drawing inspiration from his environment, taking shapes and colour relationships found there, Tracy navigates between modern processes and traditional mediums to create a unique and dynamic pieces. By the incorporation of film, digital imagery, scanography and found shapes and forms, and by utilizing a variety of techniques and styles Tracy adds additional layers of complexity to his work. Tracy’s pieces are pushing the boundaries of traditional and modern art forms and invite the viewers to explore their ideas of the abstract and narrative.
