Working primarily with fine‑nib ink pens, she builds each drawing with layers of meticulous detail, combining her ink work with pencil, delicate watercolour washes, and at times gold leaf. These mediums allow her to create depth, texture, and high levels of contrast, bringing architectural subjects to life with exceptional clarity. Demi's work is known for its realism and representational style, capturing the essence of both local and international architecture. She is interested in the historical elements of the buildings that she draws and the architects and craftsmen who built them.
