A Room Full Of Cats is a 2 layer risograph in orange and green ink printed on white recycled paper.
This print was inspired by a trip to Pear Mill in Stockport, a massive vintage and second hand emporium that had a huge globe chair in one of the sections. Elsa couldn't help but imagine what it would be like to have a snooze in there and thus whole menagerie was created.
Paper size: 29.7 x 21 cm (A4).
Open edition.
2B Or Not 2B are sisterly illustrators, Sarah Hingley & Elsa Hingley-Knight, from Manchester. They realised they were better off together and in 2018 combined love of doodling together to create 2B. They love the vibrant colours that the risograph printing process allows and they are always experimenting to see what interesting combinations they can get, especially if there is an excuse to use fluorescent pink. Sarah of 2B is the one who prints all of the risograph goodness locally to them in Salford, Greater Manchester, in the environmentally friendly print studio MARC the Printers. 2B thrives on creating fun items for people to pop into their pocket, and humour is always an important part of their work too. Their silly characters range from lemons to bread with faces to ye olde court jesters, and you will often see them peeking out from their full range of printed and fabric matter too.
