Creation Print

Creation is a giclée printed reproduction of an original illustration by Sarah Young, originally done for the book 'Greek Myths', beautifully written by Ann Turnbull and published by Walker Books/Candlewick Press.

Giclée printing is a trusted digital printing method for producing museum-quality art prints with archival quality pigment inks that provide rich, long-lasting colour. This print is printed on acid- and lignin-free Hahnemühle German Etching 310gsm heavyweight 100% α-cellulose paper (alpha cellulose is characterised by its extraordinary velvety tactile feel and its fine, clearly defined felt structure) with a fibrous finish especially suited for reproducing watercolour and ink pieces.

Sarah Young is a painter, printmaker, illustrator and maker working with narrative themes often inspired by myth, folk tales, circus and burlesque imagery. As a printmaker she is known for her lino and wood cuts but she also works in screen printing, mono print and collagraph.
